Family Vacation 2009

Well, before we dropped Meghan off at the grandparents for college, it was off to the cabin for a good old family vacation! We had a great time at the cabin and did lots of walking. The girls had lots of fun and Mike spent all his time working around the cabin. Vacation to Mike is doing work around the cabin--go figure :) We spent 3 wonderful days at the cabin and then it was time to drop Meghan off and head home. It was the perfect way to end our summer and get ready for the new school year!!

Introducing..........Tyler Lorin Bardin

We have a new Grandson......Tyler Lorin Bardin........He decided to come a day early. He was born Sunday, July 5th at 5:07 PM by C-Section. He weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. and is 20 inches long. He already rules!!!

Last Saturday Mike and I went to Henderson to pick up a boat that our friends gave to Mike for FREE!! Yes, it was too good to be true--but Mike has really cleaned it up since we first picked it up, and I am starting to believe that it will float again some day:)

I can't believe that my baby girls are all grown up and getting ready to graduate from high school.

Senior Dance

Well, Meghan got invited to the last big dance of the year and it was a lot of fun to go pick out a dress. Cicily came over and did her hair--I am NO hair person--thank goodness Cicily knows what she is doing. Meghan looked really nice:) Morgan didn't get asked:( but that didn't stop us from going at getting her a pretty dress too. We decided that they should get their senior pictures taken in their new dresses. Morgan and I went to see Wolverine instead, although Meghan thinks she had a better time than we did. I don't know, I thought Morgan and I had a pretty good time ourselves.:)

The Flu has arrived:(

On Wednesday Meghan went to a fancy restaurant down south in Salt Lake City and by early evening was really sick. Well, we all thought she had food poisoning of course. But alas, I do believe it was the FLU:( I think this because Mike now has the same thing. I was really looking forward to a nice evening and BAM!! I come home to the sick house. Oh well, maybe another time. I just hope I don't get this, it is soooooo not fun:(
